Trailer Repair in Dunnellon

Dunnellon is a small city in southwest Marion County, 1,928 people at the 2020 census, about 24 miles southwest of Ocala, where the Rainbow River joins the Withlacoochee. It is boat trailer country. The town has its own history with hauling. Dunnellon was founded in 1887, two years before phosphate was discovered nearby in 1889, and it still goes by “Boomtown”. US 41 runs through the city, 24 miles north to Williston and 18 miles south to Inverness.

The axle makers are clear about water. Featherlite’s chart says to replace an unsealed bearing that has been immersed before the next use.
